Sam Burges

Sam Burges joins the NACP team as one of the Climate Mates for the Pilbara region. Raised on a multigenerational farm in the Wheatbelt, his exposure to broadacre cropping and sheep farming, combined with studies and an early career in Sustainable Development, sparked a passion for future-focused land management.

Sam is driven by a strong sense of legacy and is committed to leaving the land in better condition for future generations. Now based near Perth and working with the Rangelands NRM team, he’s focused on helping landholders improve business resilience while enhancing landscape health.

He’s keen to work alongside land managers so they can access practical NACP support to help navigate climate variability for their business.
