Growing up and raising my own family in Mount Isa I enjoy the outback and spending my time outdoors. You will often find me pottering around in the garden or out exploring the many beautiful landscapes that our country has to offer. Previously I worked in the health and education industries, but it was my passion for travel and photography, coupled with an insatiable curiosity about science and the natural world, that motivated me to study a Bachelor of Environmental Science.

In my role as the Regional Environment Officer for the Southern Gulf region, I collaborate closely with the community to deliver projects aimed at preserving endangered species like the Carpentarian Grasswren and the Julia Creek Dunnart. Additionally, I am involved in riverine restoration efforts. As a Climate Mate, I work with landholders to understand the climate drivers and use climate predictions to make informed business planning decisions.
