Keerah Steele

Keerah has lived and worked in the Etheridge Shire/Northern Gulf area for 10+ years. In this time, she found her way into the Gulf Savannah NRM team as the Rangelands Project Officer and recently as Technical Adoption Officer and has been with GSNRM for 3 years now.
Within her job, Keerah works with many beef producers and community groups on important issues within the industry. She is passionate about supporting graziers to adopt sustainable grazing land management strategies to improve their productivity and profitability whilst preserving the natural resource base on which their business relies. It all starts with grass! Knowing the climate drivers and using the tools to predict the season is an important aspect in a northern beefbusiness and Keerah is excited to build that knowledge throughout the north and support producers to continue to make informed, timely decisions.
